Executive Practitioner Certificate
Practitioners must have:
- Attended ALL base-level courses with the Dr. Han School of Acupuncture. These include:
- Modules 1 and 2 (or Basics of the Balance Method)
- Introduction to Global Balance
- Treating Zang-Fu Disorders with Meridian-Conversion Therapy
- Seasonal Balance
- Balancing the Five Elements
- Dr. Tan’s Twelve Magical Points
- Smart Combos: How to Integrate Various Balance Method Strategies
- Treating Eight Extra Meridians and Scalp acupuncture
- Practitioners must have treated at least 1,000 patients (not 1,000 treatments) using the Balance Method
- Certified Executive practitioners will be required to stay current with new Balance Method strategies. This requires attending all new Academy classes in order to maintain a high level of competency.
- Practitioners will need to submit 16 case studies: 4 local, 8 Internal and 4 Smart Combos treatments
- Practitioners will need to complete continuing education with the Academy of Acupuncture: at least 1 full Core Foundations or Advanced Track every 2 years
- Practitioners will need to complete at least 40 hours of internship with the Academy of Acupuncture
- Practitioners will be interviewed by Academy leadership before being awarded Executive certification
- Executive-level acupuncturists will be eligible to teach beginning-level courses on the Balance Method upon approval from Academy leadership
At the completion of the Executive certification process, all of these top echelon practitioners will be invited to participate in the Academy of Acupuncture Elite Program–an influential group dedicated to teaching and advancing the Balance Method curriculum. More details will be provided upon certification at the Executive level.
Costs:
- One-time fee of $450.00 for lifetime certification as an Executive practitioner is required to cover the certificate and continual maintenance of the referral list
Instructions
- Submit payment. Application fee covers the verification and analysis of the practitioner’s application data and documents. All fees are nonrefundable. You may cancel your registration at any time by email. Dr. Han School of Acupuncture may cancel a practitioner’s registration with due cause.
- Submit the following documents to our contact email ([email protected]):
- Certificates of participation
- Letter of introduction and motivation
- All case studies and corresponding attachments
- State or government-issued photo identification
Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation of receipt within 10 days after submission. You will receive a response on your certification status within 8 weeks upon of receipt of your application.
